Andy and I enjoy an inspiring day at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2009, courtesy of Marshalls - principal sponsor of the show.
It's great to see what our client gets up to beyond the work we do here at Dolphin. After working with illustrations and descriptions of the show garden for the Chelsea microsite, it's really nice to see the garden for real, in all its glory. And to see it appreciated by crowds of RHS members brandishing Marshalls bags.
Marshalls won a Silver-Gilt award for their show garden. See more pics and vids at the Chelsea microsite

There were some spectacular displays of landscape and floral designs at the show, and some really innovative planting schemes. Vertical planting and making the most out of height in a small space was evident throughout... [what's that Andy? You think you've got an idea for our next brief? Brilliant] ...and this year the credit crunch was inspiration for some, with many gardens featuring 'grow your own', and James May's garden, rather 'make your own' than 'grow your own' - a garden modelled completely out of plasticine.
Here's some of my favourite pics from the show...
