Dolphin breathes life into Identity Management

GB Group, the UK's leading identity management specialists, have recently launched a series of online videos to help it clarify what identity management means - and why it is important to today's businesses. The videos were produced and directed by Manchester based agency Dolphin.

GB Group had found in the past that their target audience - from potential customers to investors - sometimes struggled to fully understand their core proposition - identity management. Having worked closely with GB Group for three years Dolphin felt they were in the perfect position to communicate the proposition and why it matters through a series of detailed, targeted yet easy-to-understand videos.

Andrew Stout, Managing Director at Dolphin said: "We wanted to bring GB's brand concept to life in a simple, yet informative, way. We did this by using one central character."
"We built on the concept of 'identity' by revealing certain aspects of what makes up his identity (for example the car he drives, the gadgets he can't live without) before focusing on what job he does and how GB's technology has helped improve success rates for his particular business. By addressing 13 specific roles we ensured that there was a relevant video for each of GB's identified target professions - rather than a 'one size fits all' approach".

Maxine Morgan, Marketing Communications Manager at GB Group, comments: "Before launching the videos online, and giving them to our Sales team as a presentation tool, we presented them at our annual company-wide conference. I was blown away by how well the videos were received! The videos leave no room for confusion over exactly what we offer and, importantly, how effective our technology can be when dealing with issues such as identity fraud and the use of personal identity information in marketing."
